I write this comment as a citizen of this country. I am not Jewish so I have not personally been subjected to the hatred, the indignities, the degradation which has been directed directly at our Jewish community. While I have not had these vile things directed at me, my fellow citizens have suffered this have.
I have observed the clear choice by our public authorities to, at the very least, tolerate this vile behavior, if not implicitly and now explicitly encourage the hatred.
I can only conclude that such hatred is government policy and for that, I offer my disgust and my hope that this government is swept from office as soon as possible.

Hate (thought) crimes should not exist and instead free speech should be inviolate as transparency and individual judgement allows people to see and hear who is behind whatever ideas are being exposed. The captured state and institutions are not your friends and as you stated, societally ignoring them is a virtue. The nihilism of multiculturalism and Identity politics has delivered us with a growing Islamic demographic largely unreformed including a supremacy doctrine and honor-bound mission to establish Shariah law (theocracy) and along with that, a significant contingent of Palestine support aligned with the left against Israel and Jews. It is now a vote-rich demographic with Muslims outnumbering Jews 5 to 1 in Canada and 100 to 1 globally. The LPC/CCP/UN/WEF/FN natural governing complex is blatantly mining such at least until demographic dominance results in something else entirely unless the "Dar al-Harb" (house of war) is recognized and pushed back. Professor David Betts (War Studies) of Kings College, UK has predicted that the UK is now at pre-civil war conditions due to their more advanced stages of the same issues.

I am not knowledgeable enough to comment usefully on most of Ms. Wente’s observations but I do find her statement that “the problem is that, to a large degree, university deans, provincial education ministry policy managers, school administrators, and CBC program managers are on board with the hate”, extreme and somewhat hateful in and of itself.
I don't see any evidence of anything "extreme and somewhat hateful" here. But I will admit that I would have a hard time *proving* that the problem exists specifically "to a large degree".
However, in my defense, what other conclusion could I reasonably draw when I see the facts on the ground across the K-12 and higher ed industries in Canada? Someone has to be making the decisions to allow such content and environments in their facilities, right?
