The analyses you're suggesting must be accomplished by those with the clearly established legal authority to do so, within clearly established legal bounds.

So sorry, but the DOGE renegades have neither.

Not only that, but they need oversight as well. Something DOGE doesn't have either.

We likely have as many government funded NGOs (more properly GOs) as the US. None of these should ever get a nickel from government.

I went to "that page" to search for "Contributions to provide income support to on-reserve residents and Status Indians in the Yukon Territory" but could not get anywhere. You'll have to give more guidance, David.

In any case, I'm appalled to read anything positive about what Musk and his boys are doing to the US government. Call me biased because I read Paul Krugman and Heather Cox Richardson.

I'm not sure why it didn't show up for you, but here's a link to a screenshot I took just now. The right-most column represents "2024–25 Main Estimates"

Ah, I now found it as well, using CTRL-F (I had been looking for a Search window). Agree this needs clarification. Perhaps "income support" involves more that support to individual households, e.g. administration of the benefits?

But why just a few thousand people in Yukon? I really have no clue what that program description is talking about.
