You indicated Pierre does not have a written platform. This has been on the CPC web for quite a while, it is fairly comprehensive. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://cpcassets.conservative.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/23175001/990863517f7a575.pdf
Although it's weird that there's no link to the document from the conservative.ca home page or, as far as I can tell, from any page linked to from the main page. And, while it's definitely a legitimate (and well-written) policy document, it is two years old. Even though the party is obviously happy with their long-time platform, I would normally expect something focused on the current election.
But either way, I think they should do a better job getting this in front of voters' eyes.
Pierre's proxy interview (likely very accurately) underscores the abandonment of the concept of subsidiarity in our levels of government. Cities and other local governments are subsidiary to their provincial governments just as provinces are to the federal government. The federal government should be a small fraction of its present structure and reach. The Liberals are even worse in leviathan overreach. In the area of environmental protection, redundancies are glaringly obvious particularly with environmental assessment where proponents are required to account for every aspect of a project when provincial and existing federal legislation and regulations already cover the protection of habitat and wildlife.
The transfer money that Pierre talks about comes from Canadians who have been taxed and is their money not Ottawas money. Sorry Pierre but I have to take issue with you on that one. Without taxpayers Ottawa would be a nothing town full of bureaucrats with nothing to do.

I stand corrected - that definitely qualifies.
